Himmat Singh's inclusion in the team proved to be a blessing for Delhi as they won both the matches, he made his debut in. Himmat's first class debut came against Railways in October 2017 while his List A debut came against Andhra in a Vijay Hazare Trophy fixture. Delhi won the Ranji fixture against Railways by an innings and 105 runs while they thrashed Andhra by 9 wickets during the Vijay Hazare Trophy contest. These were big victories with Himmat having significant contributions in both the matches.
Himmat has been playing List A cricket since a few years but the young bloke scored his first List A century recently against Andhra. The middle order batsman played a critical knock of 102* against Andhra as Delhi won that 50-over contest by 73 runs. Delhi has an aggressive top order and Himmat who bats in the middle order gives stability to the side. Not only can he play the role of a sheet anchor but he can also turn on the heat in the final overs with his big shots and ability to find gaps at will..
