Abhinav Manohar is a right-handed batter who hails from the city of Bangalore. The finisher is known for his aggressive stroke-play lower down the batting order. He hits them as hard as anyone in the current game and can also play the role of an anchor if required.
Manohar made his T20 debut on November 16, 2021, for Karnataka in the preliminary quarter-finals of the 2021-22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT), where he top-scored in the match with an unbeaten 70.
He made his List A debut on December 19, 2021, for the same team in the preliminary quarter-finals of the 2021-22 Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT).
The Karnataka hitter was the second one from his family to play professional cricket. Sharanya Sadarangani, his first cousin, currently represents the German women's national team.
After Manohar’s impressive show in the domestic circuit, he was bought by the Gujarat Titans(GT) in the 2022 season of the IPL auction. Gujarat overcame a fierce bidding war with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) to secure his services as a finisher for INR 2.6 crores..
