An aggressive batsman and a decent wicket-keeper, Vishu Vinod made his first-class debut for Kerala in 2016. His ability to get accustomed to any batting position is what makes him a player to watch out for in Kerala's squad. It was due to his impressive performances in Interstate t20 competitions and Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy that this young player was drafted into the Kerala team. With a strike rate in excess of 150 at junior levels and the ability to clear the fence at will, Vishnu Vinod has been a consistent performer at the Under 23 and Under 25 levels.
Vishu's first-class debut was a decent one as he scored 58 against Haryana and following that he played few impressive knocks too. Owing to his hard hitting skills, the aggressive batsman was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016, but a series of single digit scores with a high score of 9 wasn't enough for him to cement a place in the playing XI. Vishu Vinod has the experience of playing in the domestic tournaments in India, but lacks the temperament required when it comes to pressure situations; an aspect of his game he needs to work upon..
