Sean Dickson fell just 14 runs short of Bill Ashdown's Kent individual record of 332, made against Essex at Brentwood in 1934, when he plundered 318 against Northants at Beckenham in 2017. But Dickson did pass another gigantic Ashdown innings, 305 not out against Derbyshire at Dover in 1935, to register Kent's highest innings in a home match.
