Sussex, Kent/Kent Spitfires, England and Wales Cricket Board XI
Harry Zacariah Finch hails from Hastings, a town in the southeast coast of England, and played all of his cricket for Sussex thus far (June 2018). Starting from Under-13s, Finch represented Sussex at all possible levels and made a name for himself when he earned plaudits in the England Under-19 side before gaining his first professional contract with the club at the age of 18.
The following year (2014), Finch failed to break into the First Class side, and nearly missed playing the limited-over games until a surprise opportunity came his way. In his only List A game that season, Finch belted a 58-ball 92 against Glamorgan and cleared the air regarding his abilities in the format.
Finch enjoyed a great run during the 2016 County and wrapped the season with an eye-catching hundred against visiting Pakistan side at Hove. Unfortunately, he was hampered by a finger injury that dented his progress in club cricket in Australia and had to wait until the next season to prove his claim. 2017 wasn't great in terms of numbers for Finch, but he did manage to churn out a few valuable fifties that helped him extend the contract till the end of 2018 summer..
