Adam Hose is a top-order batsman, who hails from the Isle of Wight, who grew up playing through the Hampshire age groups and then represented MCC Young Cricketers. After trialling at Somerset and scoring two second-team centuries, he signed a professional contract in 2015. He made his first-class debut against Pakistan in July 2016 and also made debuts in both limited-overs formats. He signed a one-year contract extension with the county until the end of 2017 but, just as he became a first choice pick in all three formats, turned down a three-year deal and instead joined Warwickshire (initially on loan) on a similarly long-term deal..
